How to put yourself on google search?

Google+ presents a social platform that you can use to build a significant web presence for you and your brand. When people search for you on Google, one of the first results will be your Google+ profile.

By including your business information in your Bio profile _ such as your website link or your products _ and making it public, a quick search for you on Google would provide potential customers for links and information about your brand.

How to put yourself on google search?

If you want people to find you when they are searching on the internet, you can create a landing page using iLink, and add all your information there. It would be great to add all the necessary information, and all names people may know you on those.

To create a landing page and add your biography:

  1. Go to https://il.ink
  2. Sign up with the necessary information (you can upload a profile picture, at this stage too, or skip it).
  3. On the dashboard, go to info section on the left menu
  4. Write a short bio that best describes you
  5. Add any necessary link you want in the Links section on the left menu
  6. Add any music or video clip that you want your audience to see about you in the same section

Now, everyone searches on the internet; they can see your landing page (like a website). It is free, and you can set it up fast. The excellent point is that you can customize it as you prefer, according to your brand, for example.

If you are a writer, photographer, or any job you have, you can add your portfolio there too. The best point about the iLink profile is that you can share it on your social channels.

You can also sell any products there or add any links to download your eBooks or PDFs.

  3. Write the URL of your email or site in the link window

    “Public”
allows everyone to see your profile.
“Extended circles” allows people in your circles and their circles to view your profile.
“Your circles” allows only people in your circle to see your profile.
“Only you” will lock your profile as private.
  • your G+ introduction should include:
    -what you are passionate about
-what type of content you will share
    -a brief story of yourself
    -social media and contact information
-why people would like to circle you.
  • After editing your profile Bio, you should click on the “save” button, and you are all done!
  • After that, you can search your name on Google to see if your G+ account shows up or not. But remember you should be public for that.

As I mentioned before, the story section is one of the most critical parts of your G+ profile, fill it today and let yourself be verbose, not pompous.

Tips on writing a perfect Tumblr description

  • Choose what to include

While writing a description for Tumblr, your purpose should be to highlight what makes you and your blog different and valuable to your audience. There is no one-size-fits-all list of data you should always include in a blog description; your target audience varies depending on the type of blog you are publishing, and so does the kind of data they will find interesting, valuable and relevant. If you are writing a professional blog on a particular subject, for example, including your credentials would improve your credibility. If you are running a personal blog, on the other hand, you could write about your interests and the sort of content you post, to help first-time readers decide whether to follow you or not.

  • Short or long _ A matter of location

There are two section on your Tumblr blog where your description will be visible to your audience: the aptly named description section and a custom page.

If you are using a computer, the description section can appear in many different locations on your blog’s home page, depending on the theme you use; some themes show it as a sidebar, others display it at the top, and some present it at the bottom of your page.

Remember when your Tumblr blog is seen on a mobile device, the blog automatically shifts to using a mobile layout that puts the description right at the top, this means your visitors should scroll past it to get to your content. That’s why you should keep it short to avoid overwhelming mobile visitors by forcing them to scroll for too long to get to the main part of your content.

How to access the theme options?

  • Click the “person” icon on the Tumblr barClick “Edit appearance.”
  • Click “edit theme.”
  • Write in the description section
  • Click the “save” button and done!

How to create a custom page on Tumblr?

The custom page production tools are placed at the bottom of the theme options screen, so you should scroll down a little to find them.

  • Click ”add a page.”
  • Enable the show a link to this page toggle to automatically add a link to the page on your blog.
  • Type the address you want to use for the page in the URL field. Your blog’s address is automatically filled in, so all you have to do is to fill in the part after slash. For instance, for a page that contains information about you, you could enter “about me” after the slash, while for an FAQ page you can just write “faq.”
  • Type a title for the page in the “page title” section. This is the title that shows up at the top of the page itself.
  • Type your description in the large text section. This field is a full-fledged text editor, with formatting buttons you can use to change text formatting, add links, insert pictures, and add blockquotes or links.
  • Click on “Update preview” to see how your page will look; when you are okay with it, click save to save the changes. And if you want to return to the theme options, just click the arrow icon.

That’s it!

The persistence of social media in this digital world is unquestionable; it’s all about staying in touch with friends and family and, of course, about sharing information effortlessly. So why not share links on it to drive traffic and increase our visibility to the whole world?

Instagram is one of the popular social networks in which you can share links yet with some limitations and under certain conditions. That is to say, you can only put a single clickable URL in your bio and are not allowed to have it in your post captions. It’s also possible to share an Instagram link in your stories only if you have a business account and more than 10,000 followers. But that’s not all you need to know about using Instagram links in this platform. Instagram has set some boundaries in this regard to protect its users, especially teens, and prevent spams.

Some of these restrictions are summarized as below:

· Shortened links such as bitly are not usually allowed because it’s unclear what you’re linking to.

· Links to adult websites or explicit content are not allowed.

· A certain link which is appearing on several accounts within a short period is not permitted.

· Links encouraging others to follow you on another service are not approved on Instagram

· Fake URLs may be blocked.

· URLs containing elements or misspellings of Instagram might get blocked.

· Links to your Snapchat or Telegram are not supported.

· Links to Etsy shops in any format are not allowed.

· Sometimes, Instagram doesn’t let you put a certain link just because of your WiFi connection!

· Affiliate links may be blocked.

· Your account may be reported or blocked if you share the links of other people’s contents without permission.

You will get below error message if you do one of the above:

Your account may be frozen; as a result, meaning you cannot get into it. In this case, contact Instagram support or wait a few days, hoping for the return of your account. But if none of these worked, you have no choice but to remove your account and to create a new one.

However, if your account is still available, I can provide you some ways to fix the error.

It will not harm if you turn off your cellular phone or put it in airplane mode for about 2-3 minutes as a possible solution to this error.

How to Write Good Instagram Bio?

Writing a great Instagram bio might seem easy, but it actually needs a lot of thought. It takes less than ten seconds for an online visitor to get an impression of your Instagram account. It’s essential for that first impression to be a good one!

In the following article, we will show you how to write a good Instagram bio that makes an excellent first impression, describes what your business does, and convinces new users to click the “follow” button!

How to Write Good Instagram Bio?

  • Your name

The first thing you need to do to create a good Instagram bio is to make sure that your name is unique and real! (by name we mean the “name” field on your profile, not your username).

People will use your name or your company’s name to search for you on Instagram, so you should let them know that the Instagram profile they are viewing really belongs to you.

You should know that your username and name are the only fields that Instagram considers in the search queries. Therefore, you should use the name you are identified with.

  • Related Keywords

Using keywords would not increase your search-ability on Instagram (except your “name” in your Instagram bio), yet it will give more focus to your account and lets you correlate with members who want to engage with your brand!

When you are choosing keywords to use in your Instagram bio, consider your primary values and the core values of your target audience.

If you are using Instagram for business, you should spend more time getting to know your ideal followers. What are their interests or pain points? What keywords will help you attract them the most?

Using related keywords to your niche and your target audience will help people know who you are, what you are offering, etc.

  • Your business skills

Your Instagram bio should explain what you do and what your business is. So if you are standing out for a specific skill, hobby, profession, or interest, you should include them on your Instagram bio.

Think about what makes you different from your competitors. If you have individual experiences or skills relevant to your business, mention it on your Instagram bio.

Instagram bio acts as an introduction to new visitors and makes the first impression on them, so make sure that they would tap the follow button.

  • Website link

Instagram is very strict about using clickable links. Currently, Instagram only lets you add one clickable link in the app. And it’s the link in your Instagram bio.

Most of the brands on Instagram use the link to direct their followers to their homepage or blog. But if you have an e-commerce business account on Instagram, you would also want to send users to specific pages about your products, campaigns, or webinars. So the lack of clickable links can be a massive challenge for you.

Some accounts will frequently update their website link to send the audience to their latest products and then promote the link on their captions. But Instagram’s algorithm is no longer chronological. So if you post “link in bio.”, it’s possible that the link might not correspond to the existing link in your bio!

So what should I do?

You can use short-link generators or source page generators like iLink to create a source page for all of your important links and convert them into one short link to place on your Instagram bio.

This way, you can track your hits and target your most popular product. And also, you can drive more traffic to your individual web pages.

You can create a profile with contact information on iLink and add as many links as you want to your page.

How To Add Links On Instagram Posts?

As it stands, Instagram only allows users to share one clickable link on their Instagram bio; any links added to captions or comments are not clickable and must be copied and pasted to be accessed. There are some less effective workarounds available to users, but no way to reliably get a workable link anywhere but the profile page.

Social media managers have always talked about the importance of Instagram traffic for websites and online pages. But how to add links to Instagram posts and stories? Fortunately, there are some ways and tricks to add links to Instagram posts and stories, keep reading to get the secret!

Why doesn’t Instagram allow links in posts?

As frustrating as it is, Instagram has a good reason to limit the linking. Once upon a time, users could include links in captions and comments. However, this function was heavily abused with link spamming in comments and frequent hacking and misusing of profiles, so Instagram took a firm stance against excessive self-promotion.

Is there a workaround?

Yes and no. If you are an individual with a casual blog and no interest in spending money to get your link out there, you’ll need to settle for having your blog link on your profile.

If you’re concerned that your followers won’t know about the link unless they visit your profile page, include a call to action in your caption that directs them to your page to find your blog’s link. Obviously, this isn’t ideal because it requires a couple of steps from the follower, but it’s better than nothing. The most welcomed workaround is using links in bio, and today we are going to talk about it.

How to add link to instagram post?

Actually, it is possible to add links on Instagram posts, didn’t you expect it? Well, that’s right, you can add links to Instagram posts. With an Instagram business profile, you can share clickable links in posts as long as you pay for them and promote the posts.

To edit or write your bio, go to your profile, click on “Edit Profile,” type in or edit the information in the relevant fields, and tap “Done” or “Submit.”

Below tips and tricks will help you get the most out of your Instagram bio and shine:

Instagram bio fonts

Most of the strange fonts you see in others’ profiles are in fact, symbols that can be found on Microsoft Word such as ®χ₽КΘ. I suggest not to use these symbols in your name if you want people to find you in search queries. Instead, give a different appearance to your bio by including them in your description of your hobbies, profession, skills, interests, etc.

Use different fonts on your Instagram bio

If you want to change Instagram bio font without inserting symbols, use tools, or third-party websites such as Fonts for Instagram. You can write whatever you want on the left and they will be converted to several fonts. Choose one of them, copy and paste it on your Instagram bio.

Bio quotes

Find cool text for your Instagram bio that is also representative of your personality, lifestyle, business, or brand. It can either be an inspiring quote, a funny text or a sentence made by your own, which is specific to you.

See below some bios that use interesting sentences:

·        Jeans are treated like a canvas and given a brand new aristocracy. (@versacejeanscouture)

·        Welshman having the time of his life. (@thereallukeevans)

·        Look up. (@lilycole)

·        I eat and sing and have a podcast called Table Manners. (@jessieware)

·        Game over. (@marshmellomusic)

·        Keep going. (@tombrady)

·        keep RISINGkeep LIVING& keep LOVING!♥

·        Life’s too short to eat boring food (@naturally.jo)

·        Life is the art of drawing without an eraser (@sheryl.valencia.3)

Instagram bio symbols

Spice up your bio by using special characters provided in Microsoft Word. You just need to go to “Insert,” then “Symbol” and choose whatever character you like. Then, copy and paste it on your Instagram bio.

You can use “@” before a username to direct people to other profiles on Instagram. To show visitors which branded hashtags are specific to you, use them in your bio. You can also use content hashtags such as #NaturePhotography or #art to show what your brand or your page is about. This way, people may get encouraged to learn more about other relevant posts by clicking on them.

How to put a clickable link in Instagram bio?

Put the links to other social media accounts or other websites to drive more traffic to them. If you are wondering how you can use multiple links in your bio, I will tell you how. Use iLink which converts all of the URLs, no matter how many, into one single clickable link that can be used on your Instagram bio. You can also track the number of hits on each link and all of them as a whole.

Create an iLink account, choose a username, and design it as you want. The link will be like this: https://il.ink/blaccmass and when others click on it, a page like below appears.

convert multiple links into one using iLink

Since you cannot put clickable links in captions, ask your followers to visit the link in bio for more information whenever relevant and necessary.

How to change Instagram name?

Your name field in the bio is searchable. So if you want to get noticed, choose a smart one. On the other hand, if you enjoy being out of sight or choosing a strange name with special characters seems more fun to you, go for it.

How to make your IG bio centered (or put space on Instagram bio)?

Increase the visual appeal of your bio by center-aligning your profile bio. Although it may not be applicable for those whose bios are longer (because of the character limit and spaces are considered as characters), you can center your bio by putting spaces, followed by saving and checking again and again to reach the desired format.

Putting space was not available before for mobile devices, but now you can do it simply from your cellphone or desktop. Line breaks can also be added simply by tapping on the “Enter” or “Return” button on your keypad. If you need more changes on your bio you can use some online tools too.

I have also found a website apps4lifehost.com in which you can write Instagram bio or any other text on Instagram as you want and copy and paste to the Instagram.

Keywords are important in bio

Keywords will help people understand who you are, what you do, how you help, or what your interests are. Choose those that are consistent with your brand purpose and can be beneficial to making visitors into followers, considering the short attention span of many individuals.

explain your career and interests in Instagram bio using keywords

To conclude

Make yourself stand out on Instagram by going beyond ordinary and having a more creative bio section. Although it is recommended not to risk making your bio too difficult to read, using special characters and strange formatting can be to your advantage in terms of attracting more followers.

The matter of good social Media Bio

Among the complicated topics all over the world wide web discussing social media bio’s and how to write a powerful bio may sound fun for you, but the point is almost 90 percent of users don’t know how they should write their bio and even how Important their bio is? There are other groups of people that are confused about the content of their bio. So, this article will put your mind at ease and help you to find your own style.

Why your social media bio is important?

Imagine you’re dating someone, what is the first thing that will catch your attention? Yes, you are right; that person’s appearance is the first thing that will draw your attention. It is almost half a way you want to know that person. Your social media bio is precisely like a person’s appearance. It will show your audience everything they should know in the first sight. And the way you write your bio will decide to keep them or make them run away…

So whatever your business is, you have to hook your audience. Attract them and make them stay on your side. Just an excellent Social media bio can give you these options.

Most effective factors to build up your Bio

Name and questions

You may consider name is a straightforward step that has no values to stick on, but it’s better to change your mind and believe that the name you choose is significant because it’s the easiest way that your audience can find you in all social media platforms.  Choose a unique, simple username that is related to your niche. You can ask them some attractive questions to give them the feeling that it is the page that will help them to reach their aims. Some items that if your audience asks themselves the answers will be YES… but pay attention that your audience doesn’t want to see advertising quotes which are trying to trick them. You may never know a person who is asking questions in his bio section. So it can be an excellent reason to use this method because people like to see unique things.

Profile image

The importance of a profile image is not something that you can deny. First people care about your profile picture then decide to be your fan or not. Try to choose a high-quality image for your profile or if you have a special logo for your business, set that as your profile picture. Other factors are important such as size and pixels. But these factors are different in various social media platforms. For example, when you want to choose a Facebook profile image, it’s better to select the square image rather than the rectangle one, because in this case, you don’t have to crop your picture. For having a suitable Facebook profile image, you should follow the steps below.

•    square

•    Cover Photo – 851 x 315 pixels

•    Profile Photo – 160 x 160 pixels

Keywords and links

Why are keywords important? Keywords are those words that are related to your business and help people find you better. The important thing is how and where you should use them. Search still is the way that people choose to find something, and as search engines included social media bios in their search query. You should be strict about choosing your keyword. Share your website or other social media platforms in your bio, as everyone knows. You may have a problem sharing multiple links or hyperlinks in some platforms. To solve these kinds of problems you can use ilink and bitly

Skills and abilities

There is one question that you should always ask why people should follow you and stay on your side? Here is the answer; your ability and power are the most important factors that will attract them. So a wise person mentions all the skills to make his audience sure that they are in the right place. You can also put some of your interests and rules in your bio, introducing yourself will help them to stay closer to you and feel friendly.

Emojis and Hashtags

After selecting your content, it’s time to choose unique and relative hashtags for your business. Hashtags are useful as keywords are and help people find you better and more accessible. Pay attention that you are human with a lot of lovely emotions, so do not type your content like a robot. Use emojis to express your feelings and make your audience have some fun when they are checking your bio. You can use emojis instead of some words between your sentences such as computer engineer ➡ 💻 engineer

How to Write a Killer LinkedIn Summary?

A few years ago, I posted an article about writing the perfect LinkedIn summary. A lot has changed since then. LinkedIn has made many revisions and updates, and lately, they launched a whole new interface. Also, the world of work has developed even more into a place where the free-agent mindset is necessary for success. So it’s time for a significant update to my last post on this topic.

Before we get into the methods of crafting a brilliant summary, let’s begin with why your LinkedIn summary is so important for your success:

  • LinkedIn is usually the first place people go when they are looking to estimate you in a professional position.
  • If people search your name on Google to learn about you, your LinkedIn profile will likely show up in one of the top places in the search results. Since 78% of Google clicks go to the top three results, those who begin at Google will end up at LinkedIn.
  • For most of us, a LinkedIn profile is the most extensive bio we have online. Your LinkedIn summary will likely be seen by more people than any other social media bio. This added exposure gives you an outstanding opportunity to catch the attention of decision-makers — but only if you have a relatable summary.

A valuable LinkedIn summary does three things:

  1.  It shows the connection. It attracts the right audience who are crucial to your career success, letting them know what you’re about so they can decide if you are related to their goals.
  2. It differentiates you from competitors. With so many people presenting the same services as you, standing out is important.
  3. It makes people want to learn more about you and eventually interact with you one-on-one. Of course, this means congruence with the real-world you is essential.

I have had the chance to help a lot of professionals describe their story in their LinkedIn summary, and what I write here is the proven process we use. It’s a simple method that makes your summary shine:

Step one: Set the scene

First of all, you should decide what you like your summary to say and want you want visitors to do. These questions will help you set the scene for your summary:

  • Who is your target audience? Who are the most important influencers and decision-makers in your world?
  • What do you want them to know or do?
  • How do you want to make the visitors feel?

Write our responses to these questions so you can begin gathering your raw data.

Step two: collect your content

You may feel overwhelmed by the different choices for writing your bio. I recommend organizing your content into these seven buckets:

Skills: write a few sentences about what you do to provide value for your team, brand, and internal or external customers. (I’m the content manager. I have a team of best and brightest writers. I brought them together to write about the most important updates in the world!)

Victories: write about your achievements in your career. Be sure to describe the value you brought. (I saved my company $100k by using a better and cheaper version of blogging software.)

Passions: values and passions. write your operating principles and the things that inspire or energize you (for example, “diversity, creativity, and developing win-win relationships” along with UNICEF.”)

Your superpowers: Explain the things you do better than anyone else – the talents that allow you to be a hero for your colleagues (for instance, “I make team conferences fun and productive, making everyone feel involved; I have been told I am the best listener”).

Interesting stats: Mention things you can quantify – and don’t limit yourself to just the ones that are work-related. (“I climbed four of the tallest peaks; I speak two foreign languages and travel to at least eight new countries every year”)

Validation: Cover all those things that help you prove what you say about yourself such as awards and accolades (for example, “Graduated from the University of Harvard; was awarded an innovation fellowship by the Association of Advanced science”)

Uniqueness: One of the most crucial aspects of reliable content is exclusiveness. If the content on your website is duplicated or plagiarized, then you may not get the desired results from it. One of the best and easiest ways to detect piracy in content is the use of an online plagiarism checker. You can find many online duplication finder tools over the web that can assist you in detecting duplication in writing within a few seconds. You can get access to an effective free online similarity checker by clicking on plagiarismdetector.net without any hurdles.

After completing your content category collection, take a look at them and try answering these questions:

  • Is there anything missing?
  • Is there anything irrelevant?
  • Is it aspirational and authentic?

Make any adjustment, deletion, and additions to your raw content and then prepare to share.

Step three: showcase your story

Before writing anything, give yourself a “permission to suck.”  we put a lot of pressure on ourselves while writing, and if we lower the expectations of our first attempt, we can typically improve, edit, or recreate something that’s really quite satisfying.

I recommend crafting your summary in the first person for these reasons:

  1.  Everyone understands you wrote your own LinkedIn summary, so drafting about yourself in the third person looks a bit insincere.
  2.  Writing in the first person creates communication between you and your audience, and that’s the best way to develop a relationship.
  3.  The first person version of your bio seems more like storytelling and less like recording your accomplishments — and the LinkedIn summary is all about storytelling.

That’s it.

Twitter Bio Ideas to Get more Followers

Twitter Bio Ideas to Get more FollowersAfter wondering a lot between a lot of twitter bio ideas, I found one that actually worked for me. Or at least, my followers loved it when I changed my twitter bio.In this article, I will show you how to nail you twitter bio to get some eyes on you and make yourself unforgettable.

1-   Use keywords

The best twitter bios contain industry targeted keywords. Identify your top keywords and use them organically. You should think about what your audience is going to search and then include those words as keywords in your bio to be more transparent.

Instead of using general hashtags like #blogging and #social media in your bio, just tell them about what you do. Don’t make them figure it out by themselves.

Keywords are useful for people who are trying to build a twitter following.

2-   Embrace the space

A good bio is a combination of professional and personal information. Share something that will connect you to your follower.

The hardest thing about writing a good Twitter bio is fitting all your information into 164 characters. But you should remember that you will rarely write the perfect Twitter bio the first time. So keep trying. For instance, my current bio has gone through at least 15 re-writes.

3-   Mention what you do or believe in

Use your twitter bio to inform people of what you do or what you believe in and are passionate about!Instead of telling us about your work, tell us about what you do. You can save some time for people by writing your skills as brief as possible. This will make you different from others in your industry. Richard Branson has nailed it in this case.

4-   Include the name of your employer

If your Twitter bio has your employer’s twitter handle, you will appear in the search results when people search for the brand or business on the twitter. This way people can send you a personal note just in case, they need some help or have a particular question about your work.

5-   Avoid meaningless buzzwords

Every professional uses buzzwords these days, but your customers don’t. You can never stand out by using the same old ways.

  • Marketing expert (guru)
  • Growth hacker
  • Networking Ninja!
  • Entrepreneur
  • Hustler or something like that!

Let me tell you something; these buzzwords are cute. But they are too old to use, get rid of them. Because everyone is using them these days, you should be unique, not another one of those. I am sure that you can come up with something much more better!

6-   Use humor

A little humor is always helpful if you want to be remembered by other people. Yes, people will never forget the funny ones, ain’t true? So don’t waste the opportunity to let your personality shine, on Twitter at least! Humor shows that you have take some time to write a good bio, do it like a pro, just like tom hanks here!

7-   Add social proof

What are your greatest achievement and accomplishments?

Mention some of your significant awards and recognition in your Twitter bio. This social proof can be great start for your conversion. You can write about your successes, your awards, books you have written, lists you have been in, etc.

Wrapping up

Although you can utilize the best Twitter bot to get people’s attention, your bio is your best opportunity to catch some eyes and get new followers on twitter, don’t waste it. It is the first thing people see when they are deciding whether to follow you or not.

So have in mind that you only have 160 characters to get their attention.

Try to be creative and leave us a comment that no one has ever did!
